From Improv Everything, Jurassic Park in Real Life is part of their new series, Movies in Real Life. For their latest mission they drove a replica Jurassic Park Jeep through the streets of New York. Actors dressed like the characters from the film asked random New Yorkers for directions to Jurassic Park, eventually finding a T-Rex in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Every Tuesday, Improv Everywhere releases a new video that brings an iconic movie moment to life in the real world.
Graffiti artist Banksy, whose works sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars, claims he sold original pieces at starving-artist prices over the weekend in Central Park. Unwitting tourists have nabbed themselves the bargain of a lifetime after paying just $60 for original Banksy artworks while strolling through New York's Central Park. The elusive street artist - whose small paintings normally sell for around $40,000 each - set up a street stall in the park, selling what looked like knock-off versions of his famed spray-painted artworks. But the canvases in the pop-up booth, which was manned by an elderly man who spent long periods yawning and eating a hot dog, were genuine pieces painted and signed by the British painter who is currently exhibiting in New York.

Favio Chavez, Orchestra Director, Chávez, got to know these kids and their families over 5 years ago while working on a waste recycling project at the landfill of Cateura. In this area more than 40% of children don’t finish school because their parents need them to work. Being an environmental engineer but with a musical background, one day he decided to help the children by teaching them music lessons. From Rohitash Rao. On a very cold wintery night I saw a kid named Ian Axel perform in a club in New York city. I was literally about to leave the place when Ian started banging away on the piano and sang a few songs. He made me stop dead in my tracks, take off my jacket, order another drink and sit back down. I walked up to him after the show and told him if he wanted to do a music video he should call me. That was 4 years ago. In January of this year, Ian called me and told me he had teamed up with his dear friend, the amazingly-talented Chad Vaccarino, and they had formed a band called A GREAT BIG WORLD – and they wanted a music video for a new song called “EVERYONE IS GAY.” It was rough demo but all the magic was there. For me the song was a celebration – the message being it doesn’t matter if you’re gay or if you’re straight, it was just about being happy with who are you.
